Description

Fluke 754 Documenting Process Calibrator with HART Instrument

Fluke 754 Documenting Process is a multi-function documentation calibrator that allows you to download software-generated procedures, lists, and instructions or upload data for printing, archiving, and analysis. The Model 754 also features a powerful built-in HART® interface that performs the same everyday tasks you would with a separate communicator.

Key Feature Fluke 754 Documenting Process

  • Measure voltage, mA, RTD, thermocouple, frequency, and ohms to test sensors, transmitters, and other devices.
  • Source/simulate voltage, mA, thermocouple, RTD, frequency, ohms, and pressure to calibrate transmitters
  • Generating the transmitter during testing using a loop supply while simultaneously performing mA measurements
  • Measure/source pressure using one of 29 Fluke 700Pxx Pressure Modules
  • Create and execute as-found/as-left procedures to meet quality programs or regulations. Record and document results.
  • Saves downloaded calibration procedures and results for a full week.
  • Using many features such as auto-stage, custom units, user-entered values during testing, single-point and double-point switch testing, square root DP flow testing, programmable measurement delays, etc.
  • Easy to use
  • Three year warranty
  • Bright white dual display. Read source parameters and measured parameters simultaneously.
  • Multi language interface
  • Rechargeable Li-Ion battery for 10 hours of continuous use. Includes gas gauge.
  • Handles fast pulse RTD transmitters and PLCs, with pulses as short as 1 ms.
  • Delivered with DPC/Track Sample software.
  • Compatible with various Asset Management software packages.

The Model 754 HART capability

Is designed to do what you do on a daily basis with a separate communicator. In fact, it offers the communication capabilities of the 375 HART communicator.

  • No external box or additional tools are required for HART daily calibration and maintenance.
  • Offers fast HART communications.
  • Supports popular models of HART transmitters, with support for more specific commands than any other HART field calibrator.
  • Works with multiple master, burst modes, and multidrop configurations.
  • Easy to update as additional devices are added and new versions of HART are launched.
  • Interrogate to determine device type, manufacturer, model, tags.
  • Reconfiguring dual sensor temperature transmitter mapping.
  • Reads HART PV function and transmitter digital output while measuring analog mA output.
  • Read and write configuration functions to perform field adjustments to PV span points, damping, and top-level configuration settings.
  • Relabel smart transmitters by reading and writing HART tags.

Supported HART Operating Modes

  • Point-to-Point operation, the most commonly used mode, connects the model 754 to a HART device in a 4-20 mA loop.
  • Multi-Drop mode, multiple HART devices can be bused at once. The 754 looks for each one, identifies the address used, and lets you select the device for calibration and related operations.
  • In burst mode, the HART device transfers data without waiting to be interrogated by the master unit. The Model 754 can take the transmitter out of burst mode during testing or calibration, then return it to burst mode.

Pressure Module Fluke 754 Documenting Process

Covers almost all pressure applications including gauge, differential, dual (mixed), absolute and vacuum pressures.

  • Displays pressure readings in 10 different pressure units that you specify in the calibrator settings.
  • The rugged urethane box protects the module from rough handling and harsh conditions.
  • Features internal temperature compensation from 0º to 50º C for full accuracy performance.
  • Accompanied by a calibration certificate traceable to NIST.
  • Modules can be calibrated locally, helping to control costs.

A suite of 29 optional pressure modules provides pressure calibration and measurement capabilities. Twenty-eight modules are available, with accuracy specifications to 0.05%. Ranges start at 0 — 1 in H20 (0 — 0.25kPa) and go to 0 — 10,000 psi (0 — 70,000 kPa). Additional information about pressure modules is available on the Pressure Modules Home Page.

Automated Procedures Fluke 754 Documenting Process

Enables you to quickly set up automated calibration procedures for linear transmitters, DP flow transmitters, and one- and two-point limit switches. Simply select the appropriate source size and/or function and fill in the procedure template. The 750 Series does the rest. It performs the test, calculates the error, and quickly displays the final results, highlighting the tolerance points.

Adjustment Unit Fluke 754 Documenting Process

Allows you to map between units, such as mV to ºC or ºF. Allows you to use the Fluke 750 Series with millivolt output accessories such as the 80T-IR Temperature Probe, and to document tests using unsupported units such as parts per million (ppm) or revolutions per minute.

Differential Pressure Flow Instrument Calibration

Use the square root function routinely to calibrate DP flow devices directly.

Multifunction Additional Features

Calibrate temperature, pressure, voltage, current, resistance, and frequency. Because the device measures while it’s running, you can troubleshoot and calibrate everything with one powerful tool.

Powerful, easy to use Fluke 754 Documenting Process

An integrated, easy-to-follow menu display guides you through each task. Get up to speed in minutes, not days. Programmable calibration routines allow you to create and run as-is/as-left procedures to ensure fast, consistent calibrations.

Record and document results

To meet ISO-9000 or regulatory standards, the Fluke 754 records calibration results for you, so you don’t have to lug a pen and pad into the field. A USB interface lets you transfer results to a PC, saving you time transcribing manually when you get back to the shop.

Just one handful Fluke 754 Documenting Process

Small enough to fit easily in a tool bag and use in tight spaces. Powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery pack.

Strong and reliable Fluke 754 Documenting Process

Rely on Fluke’s rugged design for superior accuracy and durability in rugged environments. The urethane housing anticipates rough handling in industrial environments.

Bright white display

Allows you to read the results in both light and dark conditions. The backlight has three (3) settings.

Soft keys Fluke 754 Documenting Process

One-touch access is available for advanced functions such as task lists, automated procedures, inspections, min/max, staging and ramping, and review memory.
